In this course, students learn how to interpret a variety of drawing types, arrangement of views, alphabet of lines, sectional views, auxiliary views, thread fasteners, tolerances, drawing sets and bill of material related to the metal working field. Emphasis is placed on drawing interpretation, basic drafting, sketching and common welding symbols. The course is delivered in a lab/lecture format.
