This course covers the details of the radio air interface for mobile networks. The course starts with a brief review of the air interface and technologies used in earlier generations of mobile networks. The earlier systems are compared and contrasted with the current architecture of 5G, which particular emphasis placed on the channels, signals, frame structures, modulation schemes, protocol stacks and antenna techniques.
