This course will provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to market themselves to an employer, and to effectively gain rewarding employment using career connections. Job search will be an ongoing process, utilized many times over, as careers change and evolve. This course has been developed to prepare students to conduct an effective job search by learning interview skills, resume writing, and building an industry network. Guest speakers will be invited throughout the course to give insight to the industry as well as to help students understand employer's expectations. Students will be given the opportunity to build and deploy a personal website showcasing their project portfolio developed over the course of the program to share with employers in their job search.
