This course provides students with an opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained in the Event Management program in a specific workplace setting. With the instructor's support, students are required to find a suitable organization to host a 160-hour field placement. Students will be required to document both the employment experience and their knowledge of business applications and theories through a series of assignments. The foundation for this process is usually established in WORK 5005 Career Development and Pre-Placement Seminar. The placement experience also allows students to prepare for employment with on-the-job work experience and networking opportunities.
