Professional Writing Skills prepares Film and Television Production students to meet the expectations and challenges of communicating in a changing workplace. It is designed to build on and reinforce the critical thinking, research and writing skills developed in WRIT 104 and requires students to apply these skills to vocationally relevant assignments. The course introduces students to the strategies of effective written workplace communication, including audience and purpose analysis, problem solving, use of appropriate workplace writing formats, and professional research skills.
