Acting Techniques 2

Physical approaches to performance (Barba, Grotowski) are central to the curriculum. Text analysis, preparation of a role, the relationship of the role to the play, and the importance of the relationship between actor and actor, as well as actor and text, are explored. Students are expected to create and perform short original performance pieces both alone and with the ensemble.
