This course familiarizes students with various aspects of announcing. Through classroom participation and individual critiques, the basic skills of live on-air and studio production announcing are demonstrated and learned. Students also develop the skill to perform as on-air hosts for a music-based show with the emphasis on proper announce execution, reading and ad libbing.
