Business Law for Event Management

This course provides students with an understanding of the legal aspects of business law as they apply to event management. The overall objective is to enable students to recognize, analyze, and evaluate legal issues for the purpose of making and articulating appropriate decisions in the workplace. This course focuses on employment law, tort, and contract concepts as well as overall risk management practices with the industry.
