Estimating

Estimating introduces the student to construction estimating with the goal of preparing the student to become a competent estimator, eventually capable of making accurate and complete quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects. This course examines the principles and practices of measuring the quantities of materials and cost estimates required for a construction project. Particular emphasis will be placed on organization, accuracy, logical sequence and neatness of estimates.
