Event Financial Management

This course introduces students to the concepts, functions and techniques of accounting and financial management, providing a disciplined approach to the understanding and execution of these functions within event management. Students will learn how to develop and monitor a budget, including ticket/receipt control, sales reports and breakeven analysis. Basic accounting principles will be reviewed early on.
