Figure Drawing 2

Students will continue to develop observational and motor drawing abilities through the rigours of visual art s most demanding discipline: the drawing of the human figure. The aspiring artist will develop breadth of experience by implementing a variety of approaches to figurative representation. Approaches and principles of figure drawing incorporated include gesture, proportion, constructs, contour, visual measurement, value and form. The investigation of these approaches and principles will coincide with the exploration of various drawing materials.
