This course will be delivered in three modules: 1) Meetings & Corporate Events, 2) Incentive Events, 3) Expositions & Conventions. Through each module students will be exposed to and trained in coordinating and managing the unique event planning elements associated with each different style of event. Common elements explored throughout each module include: delegate and/or exhibitor pricing strategies, registration systems and processes, travel and accommodation requirements, family/spousal programs, VIP hospitality, and methods for calculating event return-on-investment. Each module will have students apply the five phases of the event planning process to the specific elements necessary for planning the event styles profiled in this course in order to broaden students' event planning repertoire.
