This course bridges the previous paramedic science knowledge with concepts in toxicology, CBRNE, gerontology and congenital disorders. Specialty topics such as toxicological emergencies, managing the patient with excited delirium and the procedure for removal of a taser. Students will also be introduced to the concepts of CBRNE emergency response. Topics in gerontology and diagnostic testing will also be covered.
