Upon successful completion of this course, the apprentice is able to demonstrate the ability to define, identify and describe the installation requirements for an acid neutralizer and the installation requirements for indirect and special waste installations; water main and water service installations on private property and common private water supplies; the basic operating principles of common pumps installed in plumbing systems; to solve trade-related problems using Boyle's law; to size water distribution systems based on the Ontario Building code; the principle of operation of the natural gas piping systems and medical gas piping system.
