Practicum 2

The Practicum 2 component is an application of theoretical and practical aspects in an adult ESL setting. Students are required to observe and teach in a variety of adult ESL classes, including LINC, ESL, and college EAP. With the support of a TESL faculty advisor and an on-site mentor, TESL students will learn how to apply methods and techniques and use appropriate ESL curricula which reflect the ESL learners' needs and goals as well as their various language learning abilities. Emphasis will be placed on lesson planning and delivery in front of real ESL classrooms.
