Students will be introduced to a number of ethical and professional issues that occur in everyday pharmacy practice. Through interactive class discussion, students will be challenged to apply their learning to a variety of realistic case studies. The case study approach requires active participation of all students in order to enhance the learning experience. In addition, students will develop a clear understanding of themselves and their skills as they examine their role in the pharmacy team. Team building and interpersonal skills development will be emphasized to achieve the skills required for excellence in patient care and customer service.
