This course provides recreation and leisure, as well as sport management students with an understanding of the benefits that recreation and sport play in both Canada and abroad. Students explore the various sectors in the recreation and sport industries and learn how those sectors deliver recreation or sport programs. The course also looks at how recreation and sport activities are funded and examines what factors are considered when determining program fees.
