In this introductory course, students will review the characteristics and properties of wood and wood related products used in the cabinetmaking industry.This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of lumber, veneer, sheet goods, plastic laminates, adhesives, fasteners and hardware in order to plan woodworking production and perform material estimates in preparation for practical training sessions.
