Sport Research Project

The varied sport management job sectors require employees with sound research knowledge and skills. This course introduces students to completing an independent research project that contributes to a body of research in the sports industry. Through the support of a faculty advisor, students develop a research question, outline their work in the form of a proposal and create a draft in preparation for the submission of their final research project. This course places emphasis on the skills and knowledge necessary for successful completion of a research project that is responsive to the needs of the sport environment.
