Stage Management 1

This course will examine the functions and responsibilities of the stage manager, dealing primarily with the preproduction period and the rehearsal period. Equity rules will be referred to when applicable. There will be considerable discussion of the communication and interpersonal skills necessary in the stage manager's work with actors, directors, designers, theatre management, and production personnel.
