This is the second of two courses in which students explore the roles, responsibilities and challenges faced by directors in a variety of television settings including comedy, drama, lifestyle and variety.
There is more focus on multi-camera scenarios and the elements involved. Also more discussion on the problems, challenges and issues involved in dealing with all the various roles and personalities involved in TV production.
There is more emphasis on advanced craft skills (camera, lighting, audio, editing etc.) at this level and more involved Group projects demanding these and other skills.
By the end of the course, students should have produced, directed, written, acted, done camera (and lighting), edited, and performed any number of other functions involved in the production process.
