This course helps students develop a range of skills in primary research (interviewing techniques, archival research) and secondary research (media and journal databases, Internet, print sources). Students learn to identify credible sources and use a variety of means to organize and manage their research. Students also learn about related issues including copyright, public domain, reproduction rights and permissions, and privacy.
