Financial Accounting 1

Course Code: BACC 152

Students will be introduced to the complete accounting cycle, from recording transactions in journals to the preparation of different types of financial statements, including various books of entry. Financial terms and a basic understanding of how business transactions are recorded and summarized into financial statements for use in managing operations will be covered. This course assumes no accounting background on the student's part. Please note that students who choose to take an online section of this course must write the final exam in person, at either the Humber North or Lakeshore campus, or, if located more than 100km from the campus, through an approved proctoring facility. Any costs associated with this are the sole responsibility of the student.

BMTH 010 OR BMTH 100 OR BMTH 120
