
Georges Livanos

Bio
Georges Livanos holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering from Lakehead University and a Master of Engineering Science degree (M.E.Sc.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to becoming an engineer, Georges was a technologist with a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from Humber College (1984), after completing the very program he now coordinates. Georges has recently been the recipient of a grant from National Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) for research in the area of HVAC controls. In September 2015 Georges received the Humber Research Excellence Award. Since 2010, Georges is often called to contribute his expertise to increasingly complex collaborative and interdisciplinary design projects leading to commercial products. He is co-inventor, with two others, on one patent.
