Lynn worked at the Centre for Urban Ecology in the Humber Arboretum as the Senior Nature Interpreter for 6 years before becoming a part-time Faculty member. She has been teaching in Horticulture for the past 7 years. Lynn had an opportunity to take on research projects for the past two years in the subject of her passion, manual control of the invasive plant, Phragmites australis subsp. australis. She has also been conducting research with Gino Teolis investigating the growth of pollinator friendly plants under various conditions. She intends to continue her Phragmites research next summer in Tiny Township.
