Peter Wheeler has collaborated with various partners on a number of applied research projects exploring electronics and urban farming, with emphasis on the internet of things. With a background in farming and electronics, Peter adresses agricultural issues with technology. His research ranges from sensor based data gathering, application display, data networking and communication, device packaging and disease prediction in plants and honeybees. Peter was selected by OMAFRA for the 2017 Minister's Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence for his Hive Health system.
