Every day above ground should be a blessing but for some it may feel like a burden. When I viewed life through the lens of a camera I started to find different perspectives which ultimately saved my life. By employing the Zeigarnik effect I aimed to create an image that makes the viewer uneasy all while keeping the subject anonymous. I aimed to create a diptych that looks like film stills taken from a movie. This diptych was designed to tell the story of the last encounter between two individuals. Alcohol abuse is something I have seen amongst my friends and family, especially during those times. I wanted to highlight that in photography which led me to do this shoot.
