The Humber International Graduate School (IGS) is opening in January 2021. Located in downtown Toronto, the Humber IGS will provide Ontario graduate certificate programs with a specialized business focus that feature work-integrated learning and are taught by expert faculty. Students can begin applying for Humber IGS programs in April 2020.

IGNITE gave students the chance to freshen up with free haircuts and facials at Lakeshore Campus. The Get Buzzed and Dolled Up events brought out licensed barbers and estheticians to help students look and feel their best. To learn more about IGNITE, visit their website.

As part of Black History Month events, Humber hosted an open mic and poetry slam. The goal of the event was to showcase Humber’s potential for creativity through spoken word, visual art, music and dance. Thanks to the Black Academic Success and Engagement equity hub, First Year Experience and The University of Guelph-Humber for hosting.

Humber's Community Integration through Co-operative Education and Inclusive Resource Practice programs hosted an event at North Campus. The Opening Doors to Inclusive Pathways event included a film screening of Intelligent Lives by award-winning filmmaker Dan Habib. Humber students also participated in a panel to share their own experiences.
