Experiential Learning Opportunities for Students From All Backgrounds, Interests and Aspirations!

Entrepreneurial approaches and mindset are not limited to entrepreneurs alone, but also students who want to spearhead new experiments or initiatives within existing companies. Through partnerships with local small businesses, startups and organizations, Humber and Guelph-Humber students can expand their professional learning experiences through these unique work integrated learning opportunities.

Experiences Available

Longo Family Advisory Student Business Consulting

Students provide support in select areas to businesses in select areas related to the students’ expertise.
Student Commitment: 225 – 280 hours/term

Experience Ventures Hackathon

Companies present students with real world challenges and ask them to provide innovative solutions.
Student Commitment: 16 hours maximum

Experience Ventures Challenges

Taking place over several weeks, these require students to build out more complete solutions to social, business, design, or community challenges.
Student Commitment: 40 hours maximum

Experience Ventures Projects

Companies work one-on-one with a student on a specific project.
Student Commitment: 80 hours maximum
