Sign Language and Augmentative Communication

Course Code: DSW 218

This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and augmentative communication. Students will learn how to use ASL to communicate in a variety of settings. Digital and non-digital augmentative communication options will also be introduced and students will have opportunities to apply and practice their skills.
