Whether you’re looking at the Arboretum or one of Lakeshore’s historic brick cottages, the views around Humber are definitely picturesque – and now you can check out our campuses without ever leaving your computer.
On Thursday, September 6, Humber will become one of a growing number of colleges and universities across the world available on Google’s popular Street View feature.
Available on Google Maps, Google Earth and Google Maps for Mobile, the street-level images of the campuses were collected using a specially-equipped tricycle. This enabled a Google team to document areas like pathways, shortcuts and gardens that are not easily accessible by car.
“We’re really excited to be featured on Street View,” says Todd Ryoji, Humber’s Digital Marketing Manager. “Humber’s campuses will now be visible to anyone, anytime, anywhere in the world.”
