Final Update Re: After-Hours Mental Health Support Pilot Project

We are writing to provide a final update on the After-Hours Mental Health Support pilot project that was introduced in collaboration with the Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto (CMHATO). This pilot aimed to deliver essential evening mental health support during high-stress periods from February 12, 2024, to April 16, 2024.

As the pilot concludes, we're excited to share some key highlights. Attached, you will find a high-level report from CMHATO.

We want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to CMHATO for their dedicated care and support of our learners throughout this project. We also thank our Humber community, including staff and faculty members who promoted the service. This successful collaboration emphasizes the importance of fostering a supportive community around our learners. To learn more about CMHATO, please visit About CMHA Toronto - CMHA Toronto.

In the coming weeks, we will be discussing the future of the pilot. Meanwhile, we invite you to share your valuable feedback with Gabriela Yepez at gabriela.yepez@humber.ca.

Thank you for your unwavering support as we continue our collective efforts to prioritize the mental health and well-being of our learners!
