INTRO TO STRENGTH TRAINING - 5 Week Program - STUDENTS ONLY

Pre-registration is required with a $25 fee. Registration opens Monday Feb 12th, 2024.

Location: Studio B in Fitness Centre - Lakeshore Fitness Centre
OBJECTIVES 

To introduce students to basic and foundational movements using body weight exercises, free weights and machines 

Give students the confidence and knowledge to comfortably train in any weight room 

This 5-week program will be open to students only 

Attending individual dates is not available  

Participants will be given a detailed lesson plans including points of performance and cues prior to each class or sent before program commences 

50 minute classes, capped at 6 participants 

Students who attend all 5 sessions will be given a T-shirt and shaker cup!

Classes will be progressive - important that the participant can attend all sessions- building of movement knowledge from one class to the next. All exercises will be introduced with attention to form and correct load. An overview of sets and repetitions will be included.
