The team at Humber Conference Services was fantastic to work with both leading up to, and throughout the stay of our large group in residence. All staff were extremely professional, supportive and flexible in their services and execution towards our group that required special requests in dining times, menu options, and the style of dining requested to suit our needs. The residence rooms were perfectly suited for our group, with various room style choices and accessible units available when needed. The team went above and beyond to ensure our group was comfortable and were available throughout our stay there to accommodate our every request. We would book another group to stay here again in a heart beat!

When we were looking for locations to use for Locke & Key, we knew we required a very specific architectural style to suit the creative needs of the show, but we also knew we needed more than that -  we also had to find a site that would truly be our partner in the enterprise.  The requirements of filming, particularly long-term television production, demand flexible logistics and problem-solving attitudes from our location contacts, and we found all of that in spades when working with the Conference Services at Humber.  We had an excellent experience, would recommend them highly to other producers, and look forward to continuing our work with them in the seasons to come.

The Humber Conference Services team has always been client-focused and provided an excellent experience for our group business. The team is incredibly attentive to each individual group’s needs and always finds a way to exceed the level of service our groups expect. With groups varying in size from 10 to 500+, the Conference Service Team always ensures that they provide additional value by ensuring there is bus parking, proper meal times and more. Working with some post-secondary institutions for housing and group business can be tough to navigate for third parties or travel agencies, but the team at Humber certainly gets it and makes every booking a seamless experience. I would certainly recommend them for any group business!

Humber Conference Services has consistently provided excellent room booking and catering availability. I can always depend on their staff to respond promptly in a professional and helpful manner even when I'm in crisis mode. I've never had a problem making any alterations to a booking because they are so accommodating and understanding when changes come up. We chose Humber College to host our 2018 and 2021 annual conferences because of our successful conferences held there in 2014 and 2015. The 2021 OAME Annual Conference was originally scheduled to also be held at Humber College, but, because of the COVID-19 pandemic we were unable to proceed with those plans. We certainly hope to return in future years.

Humber College has the ideal facilities to host a large conference, such as ours, which needs to have over 30 breakout rooms of various sizes, and a large plenary area able to hold over 1300 people. Space is also available to hold a trade show with at least 65 booths.

Humber College provided a supportive team to look after our needs, and responded to our queries in a timely manner. A technical team was also onsite to help with our AV and digital requirements during both the plenary and the breakout sessions. Catering for a large conference can be a significant challenge. Humber College handled our group with a well-organized plan, resulting in minimal lineups and efficient service, not to mention the high quality of food served. Dietary restrictions were readily taken care of, as well.

Humber’s attention to detail is outstanding and they go out of their way to ensure our needs are met. We are definitely planning to return in future years.
